I just receive the headphone today and using it at a coffee shop. I am loving it. It cuts off most of the background noise. Surely you will still able to hear people talking and car passing by. But the humming noise are gone and the sound quality is great. Not as good as Bose Active Noise Cancellation headphone but good enough for me. No more wire (way shorter and not attached to devices), and it doesn't have a big annoying thing on my head. It fits in my ears comfortably.

I have been looking for the replacement for my First Gen Bose Active Noise Cancellation headphone. The one that has the heart pacer and wire. I loved it but because of the size, I rarely use it because it is such a big headphone when travel. I bought it because I want to use it in plane. I was looking for Bluetooth and small for couple of years. Either they are crazy expensive or the review is horrible. Finally I found this 1 on Amazon and decide to give it a try even there was only 1 review. And it is definitely a great buy. It is directly from Japan. The menu is pure Japanese but the menu and setup is very straight forward. Noise Cancelling switch on the side say "NC". The pairing is turning on the device by press and hold the "Power" button on the front until the blue and red led on the side flashing. It operates as regular Bluetooth devices. I will definitely recommend this headphone for who is looking for free of tangle wire and good noise cancelling quality which is travel friendly.

4Perfect...except...

These are 99.99% perfect noise canceling bluetooth earbuds. They work and sound great!
What's my problem? Well, when I bought them, I saw them mentioned on a "Cell phone accessories" website, so my assumption was they would handle my phone while I was listening to music. Wrong, My bad. They are just for audio.
I took one star off for the clumsy controls, you can't clip or unclip without changing a track on your audio playback.
I guess I have to wait until Sony gets around to making a NC full function cell phone bluetooth, (and I'll read the specs closer).
(3-week shipping, don't be in a hurry)

5Great Bluetooth with noise cancel

I have three different brand Bluetooth ear phones and these Sony MDR-NWBT10N B are the best.
The noise cancellation truly works and the general operation of these ear phones work great.
There is a switch to turn off and on the noise cancellation so you can tell the different and the NC is a huge help to the listening experience.

I have the Plantronics BackBeat GO Wireless Earbuds ( PLBKBTGO ) which are a brand new release (late 2012) and these are crap compared to the Sony ones. The backbeat have no noise cancel and don't isolate noise well at all and are the lowest volume (not loud enough) ear phones I ever had. If your not in a quiet room there quite useless.

I also have the Nokia BH505 blue color. Again the Sony MDR-NWBT10N are a lot better as they are smaller and have noise cancellation. The Nokia Bh505 are just loud but no NC and get in the way if you wear a hat etc or even in the car as the head rest pushes against them and hurts your ears.

The Sony MDR-NWBT10N are great Bluetooth ear phones, getting Noise cancellation with Bluetooth at this price is a great deal, the other ear phone makers are a rip off because they don't offer features like noise cancellation.

I bought this cellphone because the description says that is factory unlocked, but its false, the cellphone is programmed with the Bouygues Telecom from France, and its works only with the 900/2100 3g band.

The seller is a lier because in the description says:
