More Storage Space!
By Jerry Palmerino Jr
If you are looking to purchase the 32 GB model, there's no doubt are concerned about the issues with storage space on the 16GB model. Rest assured, out-of the box, this model has 23GB free. It is worth the money.
While others have written volumes about this device and its specs, here are the main things I have noted. I previously had a Galaxy S3.
There is no lag on this phone. It seems to be just as optimized as the Galaxy S3. That said, it doesn't seem to be any faster. I think we are hitting the ceiling on what fast performance feels like in the Samsung Touchwiz UI. While there are plenty of videos on the web telling you how to enable developer options (for some reason they are hidden initially), and to disable the animation settings, these changes not needed. Don't worry about lag, especially if you are upgrading from an S3. If you are interested, Quadrant scores are double that of the S3. While Quadrant scores vary from run to run, you can expect something in the 12000 range.
I do not like the new tabbed Settings. I am used to the single screen and scrolling to find the options I need. Now things such as Applications are in the More tab. Why? It really seems to be an issue of it just didn't fall into the other categories. If the categories don't make sense, why have them?
The body of the phone is is streamlined when compared to the S3. It feels better in the hand and is "relatively" the same size body with a larger screen. Battery life, (after one day of use) is great. One day is obviously not much of a sampling, but I can say I am happy with it for my use (emails, web browsing, photos, some apps - weather, news, stocks, etc).
I find it more difficult to remove the battery door because of the side placement of the fingernail slot. It was better on the S3 on the top of the phone.
Other than those minor things, this s a great phone. It is a great upgrade. This particular model has no storage concerns.

Awesome SMARTphone
By Raptor007
I have owned a very wide range of SMARTphones including iPhones but truly find Android to be far more versatile and more options to choose from. The Galaxy S4 (32GB is recommended) is a great device and provide excellent storage with internal memory and external microSD (Apple won't support it) and a beautiful 5" 1080p display (again Apple won't support it). The GS4 is lightweight, easy to configure and offers removable batteries so you can swap out the battery and continue on with your day. Why should you have to add a bulky battery case or keep a charger or cable handy just so you can use your phone.
The 13MP camera is great at taking photo's and video, plus with Google+ and DropBox you can configure it for instant upload and backup of your images so you are never at a loss when it comes to those funny photographic memories.
As with any device you should always use OEM batteries, buying 3rd party or cheap knockoff's will only result in damage to your device and risk to you. Another great thing Samsung does when you register your phone is they will send you a 50% off code for accessories from their online store. Now that is something Apple (or any other company) would never do or rarely offers. Why not get an extra battery from Samsung for $25 with a charger. Keep it handy and enjoy your day.

Amazing
By Steve Hamilton
I've used Apple products, sure, they get the job done, but this phone is a real step up for those users who are looking for more out of their device. One thing I love about this phone is the fact that I can add a 64 GB SD card. Separate storage is a great feature that many phones lack. Sure people criticize the plastic backing, but let's face it, most of you guys have your phone in a case 24/7 anyways... the plastic backing allows me to pop out the battery, and swap another one in. For most people that have access to a wall outlet for their charger, this isn't an issue, but I frequently use my phone in the field in conjunction with a 5 watt fold-able solar panel. This enables me to have a battery juicing up while still being able to freely operate with my phone, then when it's dead I can swap them out.
Unfortunately, Samsung loads on plenty of bloat and useless features, as does Verizon. Since this stuff can actually be removed or disabled, which I have done, I didn't let it affect my rating of the phone. For those of you that actively use Samsung's smart features, great, but they just weren't for me. This device is so customization that anything bloatware related didn't actually have a tangible negative affect. I have the freedom to make this phone entirely my own.
The Super AMOLED screen is beautiful, and will also be your biggest consumer of power. I get about 30 hours of aggressive use out of my phone. One thing you can do to mitigate power usage, besides the obvious disabling of features, is to use dark or even black backgrounds, wallpapers, and applications that have had the predominately white backgrounds turned to black. With AMOLED displays, the brighter a color is, the more power is demanded to display it. If you use black wherever possible, those pixels are actually off.
Take this phone for what it is- a highly customizable, useful phone. Take the time to set it up, play with it, get it working just how you want it, and it won't let you down. If you're uncomfortable rooting your phone, you generally won't be able to get rid of the bloatware that you don't want, but with the 32 GB phone, or adding a 64 GB SD card, you won't be lacking in storage or functionality.
